I'm in the 11th week of my pregnancy and it's twins. However, only one of the baby has heart beat. Is there any chance of the other baby growing? Please guide me....
At my 12 week ultrasound the obgyn clicked on the baby in front to enlarge and show it's heartbeat. When she went to do the other one's she totally scanned back to the first baby's and did the same thing. I guess she couldn't find the back one's heartbeat and tried to trick me into thinking I saw both. At my 16 week ultrasound both heartbeats were easier to get and I got to hear them both. So I worried for 4 weeks, trying to prepare myself for the next appointment. All for nothing, except major headaches everyday.
My advice, don't stress too hard. I feel that if the obgyn knew FOR SURE something was wrong she/he would have told you right then and there. Luckily, they are professionals and they wouldn't hold back this kind of information just to spare your feelings.

Not really sure, what's your OBGYN say? They should be able to tell pretty accurately at 11 weeks if the other twin is viable.
