Twins Not Walking Yet?

I have 11 month old boy/girl twins and I'm concerned about when they will start walking. I know they are behind because they were a month and a half premie, but a lot of singletons I know are walking by now. My boy is a fast crawler and is always standing and climbing everything. Almost there, even balancing well. But my girl is doing the "commando" war crawl, doesn't even lift herself. Well, she can, but she moves faster on her belly. She's barely pulling herself up yet. Is this normal?

My twins are boy/girl and about to turn 18yrs old but they walked within a month of each other at 12months. All kids are unique I wouldn't worry

this is exactly the same as me.. my twins are 11 months old, my boy is standing and crawling and is strong on his legs whereas my daughter would rather do the belly crawl.
i'm not worried cause i'm pretty sure they will get there eventually. Just enjoy it whilst you can cause it won't be long now!

I have 14 month twin boys, one is walking and the other one isn't. My one started walking at 13 months after taking his first steps the week after his b-day. My other boy is just now starting to take his first steps going from one person to the other. So everyone is different. But 11 months is early, and normally girls will walk before boys! I had one that did the army crawl and the other crawled a little funny until one day they both just started crawling normally. Give them time, dont rush it. Believe me its much easier when they are stationary lol. Good luck.

my first single baby didnt walk until he was 18 months and he was born at 40 weeks....so all kids are different and will do it when they are ready, my son is 27 months and still doesnt talk...he just decided he would do things when he is ready and not when other people say he should lol

I have a daughter who was born at 29 weeks, and she didn't really start walking until she was about 12 months old, maybe even a little longer. The details are a little fuzzy, since she is 9 now. :o )

11 mths is early...my singleton never walked until she was 14 mths...and my twin boys were late walkers...as long as they are not turning their feet or you are not noticing any strange leg positioing when they stand do not worry..they well walk when they are ready..enjoy it cause 1 of my twins never walked he went from moving around everything to running and he only stops moving when he's sleeping :)
