My doc won't take me off work by: Anonymous
I think my doctor is CRAZY!! I am 27 weeks pregnant with twins and advanced maternal age, history of gestational diabetes, pre eclampsia with chronic blood pressure problems with history of magnesium sulfate drip with my last one. Taking blood pressure medication now. My job requires me to be on my feet for 12 hours a day! With heavy lifting, pushing, bending, physically and mentally demanding. Last baby I delivered at 37 weeks because of my blood pressure problems! This crazy doctor WONT take me off work!!!!!
I guess she wants me to go into preterm labor first or have a seizure. Whichever comes first! I have a military doctor and I guess with all my complications she doesn't feel that's enough.

I made it! by: Anonymous
Thank you everyone! I'm happy to say that I was able to keep working full time until I was 6 1/2 months pregnant. Then it was just to much, plus my husband was deployed to Iraq and I was taking care of a huge yard, dog, etc. So, I decided the babies were more important and took off. I ended up having my twin boys at 36 weeks and as of June (this month) they are now 8 1/2 months old and super healthy! My doctor told me I was the perfect twins carrier. I had no major problems and they were 6.1 and 6.3 even with being 4 weeks early. So I feel very lucky!
Best of luck to you!

Tired twins by: Anonymous
I am almost 4 months with twins and have 3 other children @ home as well as working full time, I too am very tired. I'm thinking that it's normal. I have friends who are single working girls with no children who are more tired than me??? Go figure.

So I'm not the only tired one... by: Anonymous
I wanted to research and see if is normal to be so tired like I feel. Now that I read all these postings I see I'm not alone. I'm extremely tired, I'm 23 weeks, and I work full time as well,it's hard to stay awake. Every time I sit anywhere I fall asleep, anywhere!

Twins and 5 months pregnant by: Anonymous
I am 5 months pregnant with twins. I am always tired it seems...some days more than others but usually tired. I have a 4 year old I take to preschool so lucky for me I get 3 hours in the morning to relax. Naps do help but I also find the earlier I go to bed everynight the better I feel.

tiredness by: Anonymous
I was extremely tired all through my pregnancy with my twin boys.. I napped about 3 times a day when I was working..I would just make it home in time or it felt that way and I would drop my purse and go straight to bed for 30 mins or so...after I was 7 mths and off work it felt like all I did was nap through the day but I was up every hour at night...my twins were very big they weighed a combined weight of 16 lbs.

5 months and tired by: Anonymous
I am also 5 months pregnant with twins and i am so tired! I work full time as well. i just try to catch little cat naps whenever possible, even if for only 15-20 minutes when I get home. It helps a little but not much. It'll all be worth it!
