Twins after 1st IVF cycle

After over 4 yrs of trying and our 1st successful IVF cycle we are now pregnant with twins. We are so anxious and excited. Now the wait to find out what they are!!!

i am 6 weeks today and i am already showing i go for an ultrasound in 4 days i detected my first positive when i was only 2 weeks 4 days even the doctor was shocked at how early i got the first posiive , im nervous about having twins but if it happens i will be happy as well i already have 5 children one of my children was a twin which i lost , then after my 5th pregnancy i lost a set of twins my sister inlaw tells me im huge and that i may be having twins my husband is a twin and there are twins right through my side of the family cant wait for my ultrasound to see whats going on with my baby or even possibly babies :) congrats on ur pregnancy

great to see all the positive messages here. I, too, am pregnant with fraternal twins following my second IVF attempt, and 2 previous frozen cycles. Yesterday we saw hearbeats!! I can't tell you the feeling. We have been trying over 7 years, we have had an ectopic pregnancy and last year, a blighted ovum. Now, well, I can't stop smiling. I actually embrace morning sickness!! Congrats! I'm so happy for you! It's such an amazing feeling to finally get to experience pregnancy and the hopes of being a parent when you have struggled with the emotions of infertility for so long. We just went through IVF also and I am currently at 7 weeks 5 days with twins. My belly has grown quite a bit in the last few weeks and I can no longer button my pants. I was worried that I was gaining non-pregnancy weight since I have been eating so much and not exactly the healthiest foods lately. Cravings and nausea are partly to blame. Thanks for making me feel normal too!

I am showing too! During IVF my tummy puffed out 8 inches and has not gone down (currently pregnant with twins at 9w0d). I have been wearing maternity pants since the procedure.

oh thank god... I am 7 weeks and 2 days. I thought I was crazy but my pants are too tight and I am showing. Thank you for helping me feel normal

How exciting! You have a lot to look foward too! I also had a little bump early on too! I ended up having big twins so I was huge by the end! I posted my pic...mines a couple below yours. I was 38 and a half weeks with boy girl twins if u wanted to see how big I got! Good luck with everything!
