Ricky Martin Has Twins?

It appears Latin star, Ricky Martin, 36, will join the growing ranks of celebrity twin parents. According to reports, twin boys were born by way of a surrogate mother a few weeks ago. They are both healthy and now under Martin's full-time care. There is no more information available regarding the twins' names or other details, although, it is said that Martin will remain out of the spot light for the next year to be with his new children

Brangelina Twins Make Their Pictorial Debut

Okay, I have to laugh at myself a bit for even posting this one. I mean, it's already plastered all over the internet, not to mention, magazine covers. But, I guess news is news, or in this case, twin news. So, here it is.....

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt welcomed fraternal twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline into the world on July 12, 2008 in Nice, France. Although there were several reports that a fierce bidding war would ensue over which magazine would get the coveted bragging rights, People and Hello magazines came out on top as the victors. A reported $14 million was laid down for the first photos of these tiny, apparently fascinating, little babies. You've got to hand it to good ol' Angie and Brad for donating it to charity, even if it was a no-brainer on their part. While the "Brangelina" machine continues to enthrall countless people, the rest of us twin mothers will likely just let out a small sigh. Not only because we truly know what Angelina's in for, but also because our twins will likely never be offered $14 million bucks. For anything.

Yet Another Celebrity Couple Expecting Twins!

Will it ever end? Just when you think not one more celebrity could possibly be expecting twins, another one seems to crop up.

Hollywood couple Rebecca Romijn, 35, and Jerry O'Connell, 34 have confirmed that they are expecting twins sometime this winter. The couple, who married in 2007, had apparently been trying for a baby and are very happy about the surprising twin pregnancy. Some sources are also reporting that the twins are both girls and were conceived naturally.

The Record Breaking Maynard Twins

Although, this story came out in mid June, it's still a newsworthy piece. Amazingly, Erin Maynard of Winston-Salem, North Carolina gave birth to twins weighing an astounding combined weight of 23 pounds! Her son weighed in at 10 lbs., 14 oz. While her daughter weighed in at 12 lbs., 3 oz. They were born two minutes apart via C-section at the Sara Lee Center For Women's Health and were perfectly healthy. The only other twins on record that had a combined weight that was higher than the Maynard twins were born in Arkansas in 1924. They weighed in at 14 lbs. and 13 lbs., 12 oz. respectively.

Lisa Marie Expecting Two Too!

You know, these days in Hollywood, twins are the new black. Lisa Marie Presley, 40, is the latest to join the ever growing list of celebrity twin moms. The babies, evidently due this fall, will be the first children for husband, Michael Lockwood. Presley already has a daughter Riley, 19, and a son Benjamin, 15, with her ex-husband Danny Keough. A lot of people don't realize that legendary, Elvis Presley had a twin brother (Jesse) who died at birth. And, apparently, Priscilla (Lisa Marie's mother) has younger twin brothers, as well. Could it be a family trait?
