My wife and I had our twins at 29 weeks and 6 days. They spent 6 weeks in the NICU, and when they first came home, we kept both of their bassinets on my wife's side of the bed. They would wake up, she would wake up, and would wake me up to feed one of them.
After some time, that obviously didn't work. We put one twin on each side of the bed, so that way we are each responsible for one baby. We know how much they ate, we change them. We switch them off once a week, and it helps us keep our sanity.
