Jackson was exactly 18 weeks along and Jordan was 17 weeks and five days. They're about 8 inches long and weighed about half a pound a piece.

 Gestational dates

I would guess that they can tell how far along each one is by the measurements that they took at the time of the sonogram. These two are fraternal twins. One egg fertilized, and then a few days later another egg was fertilized. This is extremely common in fraternal twins.
