Help! Stubborn and Strong Willed Twin

I am having a hard time teaching/disciplining my one year old son. He is a very stubborn and strong willed boy. His twin sister is more calm and mellow. He is into everything.

We recently gave him the nick name Wreck-it-Rhys! He is extremely mean to his sister. Whatever she has he wants. He will tackle her to the ground to get what he wants. (Poor girl has bruises all over her forehead). I will try finding him something different, or even the same thing but it does no good. He wants what she has.

We also try redirecting but that doesn't work either...he will go back over and over again. Anyone have any advice? If it is this bad at one year, then I am terrified for the terrible twos!
