Adopting Twins

We recently adopted twins...a boy and a girl. Aside from the silly "Are they twins? Are they identical? Do twins run in your family?" questions, I've gotten some DOOZIES!

When we announced to a member of my husband's family that we were adopting twins, she said "What color are they?" (We're HOPING for purple! Fingers crossed!) and (This one kills me) "Do you HAVE to take them both!" (We were planning on picking the cutest one and sending the other back. Duh!)

Then today at play group, one of the other Moms (who knows the kids are adopted) casually grabbed my arm and said "Maybe if I touch you, I'll have twins, too!" (Look Sista...if you're trying to get pregnant, you might be going about it the wrong way...)
