6 Week Ultrasound =1 baby - 8 Week Ultrasound=Twins

Twins at 8 weeks

I had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks and they found a baby with a beating heart in only one sac. I had another ultrasound at 8 weeks and they found two babies with beating hearts and one measuring 1 week behind the other. Has anyone had a similar experience?

one of my twins is 3 days younger than her brother, im due jan 17....i think that just means one egg was fertalized a few days after the first, mine are fraternal and i dropped two eggs a few days apart. =)

I should have said...there were two sacs found at 6 weeks, but only one baby. There were two babies found with beating hearts at 8 weeks (Baby B was one week behind in growth)
