17 Weeks Pregnant With Mono-Mono Twin Girls

Wow! I've gotta say I am definitely on roller coaster ride with this pregnancy.

Today (Jan. 30, 2012) I went in for my second ultrasound scan with my perinatologist and, as confirmed, there was definitely no membrane. That was gut rentching but I kept my cool.

Measurements were made for their growth, blood flows were monitored and I am glad to say that both girls are healthy and growing well. I still feel no movements and still getting morning sickness (especially nights). Having this morning sickness kind of reassures me that my babies are still alive and sucking the life out of me lol.

This is known as a high risk pregnancy which does sound scary, but at the end of the day all I can do is continue to take my folic acid/iodine pills and attend my appointments. That is all for now.
